Jim Luana

I'm thrilled to join this incredible group at Western Ohio Mortgage. Let me share a bit about my journey. Born and raised in Michigan, I ventured to Ohio for college at the University of Northwestern Ohio, where I cultivated a unique blend of experiences that have shaped my professional path.

During college I began working on a farm and processing plant, where I learned the value of hard work and seeing projects through to the end. Later, I stepped into the world of manufacturing, taking on the role of Operations Supervisor. Working on large metal-forming stamping presses taught me about precision, efficiency, and the importance of a well-coordinated team.

After a successful stint in manufacturing, I transitioned to a different kind of service—keeping the community safe as a police officer for almost five years. This experience instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Throughout my diverse career I noticed that business, personal finance, and real estate was a constant interest. The desire to understand the intricate workings of these domains led me to a pivotal decision: becoming a Mortgage Loan Originator. I've always been passionate about helping people navigate important life decisions, and what's more crucial than finding the perfect home?

I bring a unique perspective to this role, blending operational excellence, service, and a dedication to helping people. I'm excited to contribute to our team's success and guide our clients through the exciting journey of homeownership.

Some more personal notes about me, I have lived in New Bremen for almost 10 years now. I am engaged to marry my wonderful Jessica, who is a teacher in Piqua. Together we have 6 children and cat. I enjoy getting outdoors and having adventures: Hiking, hunting, attempting to rock climb, and riding my adventure motorcycle.
